Dewan has been under Swami’s Divine fold since age eight, having come from a family that followed Shirdi Sai Baba and Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba as their God and Guru. It was the devotion of her mother that took her to the doorstep of Bhagwan. She is an environmentalist by education and training. Bhagwan gave her direct guidance of how to play a role of a mother in dedicating her life to teaching the children the power of following truth under all circumstances. Bhagwan commanded her to leave her career and dedicate her life only to the upbringing of the children. He said to her, “Instead of sending them to Harvard, take them heartward.” Just after delivering her twin boys, Bhagwan gifted her with a pen to write several books. Her first publication was Sai Darshan, which was signed and blessed by Bhagwan and translated into several languages. She is also the author of other books carried by the Sri Sathya Sai Books and Publications Trust in Puttaparthi and signed and blessed by Swami, including Sathya Sai Chalisa, Sathya Sai Ashirvadam, Living in the Presence of God Volumes 1, 2, and 3, The First and Last Awakening Volumes 1, 2 and 3, Heart to Heart, and Faithful to the Soul Volumes 1 and 2. She engages herself in penning inspirational writings when she in communion with God within herself, and shares them frequently on her webpage (theblessedlordspeaks.com) and Facebook page (www.facebook.com/SeemaMDewan). She hosted the Sathya Sai Center of Greater Canton, Ohio at her home for many years, during which time she gave numerous talks about her experiences with Bhagawan and His teachings. She was a Bal Vikas guru for that time, and her continued passion is teaching children the importance of values and the joy of living a life dedicated to Swami. Bhagwan has blessed her with many close physical encounters over the years. She feels humbled and wishes to share the love, guidance and grace she has received from Her Guru and God, Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
