Jones Beach Drone Show 2026 | Full Memorial Day Documentation

Memorial Day weekend at Jones Beach State Park looked very different in 2026, as thousands gathered for the park’s first major nighttime drone show experience. Replacing the traditional military air show format, more than 1,000 synchronized drones lit up the sky over the Atlantic Ocean in a patriotic display celebrating America 250 festivities, honoring veterans, first responders, and the history of Memorial Day on Long Island. In this video, I document the full experience at Jones Beach. The crowds, atmosphere, reactions, drone formations, beach energy, and what this major change means for one of Long Island’s biggest Memorial Day traditions.
