280Z TACH Stuck Disassemble Repair and Test
The tachometer on my 1978 280Z was sticking most of the time. Disassembly revealed a dried out brittle gasket between tach housing and the instrument PCB.I Replaced the gasket and the binding problem disappeared. The needle now moves freely. Tach now operational again.
