At that time, 46 while Jesus was speaking to the crowds, his mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to him. 47 Someone told Jesus, “Look! Your mother and brothers are outside, and they want to speak to you.” 48 Jesus asked the one who had spoken, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?” 49 And stretching out his hand toward his disciples, Jesus said, “Here are my mother and my brothers. 50 For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother.” — The Gospel of the Lord. — Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. ✨ Reflection of the day: Jesus shows us that true intimacy with Him is born from listening to and living the Word.
