How To Fix Fanatec CSL Elite Pedal - Potentiometer Problem

If you have Fanatec CSL Elite pedals, and the throttle pedal is not working or not working all the time, you might need to watch this video as I had the same problem and I'll show you DIY fix for the problem. It seems that if you are not getting full throttle, or your throttle pedal doesn't work reliably, the chances are it is due to the potentiometer being dirty or worn out. But it's good to start out by checking cables first and if it doesn't help, then you'll need to take out your Fanatec pedals and open three screws from the bottom to get the potentiometer out. You can then clean it with compressed air and electronics cleaner. Connect your wheelbase with your computer that has Fanatec Control Panel -software so that you can monitor how the potentiometer is working. For me, cleaning of the potentiometer helped and so far it's been working ok. It could also be that it is a temporary fix and the only way to cure the problem is to replace the potentiometer with a new one. But it's still working. So, if you have the same issue with the pedal, you could try these steps first if it helps. And of course, I would love to hear your comments about this. And hopefully this video is useful #fanatec #diy #tech #howtofix
