NTT, KOMPAS.TV - A Spanish citizen who was a victim of the sinking of the KM Putri Sakinah off Serai Island, Labuan Bajo, was found dead on Monday (December 29, 2025). A joint SAR team recovered the body of the victim, which was found by fishermen about one mile from the sinking site of the KM Putri Sakinah, in the waters off Serai Island, West Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara. The victim's body was immediately taken to Labuan Bajo City for identification at Komodo Regional Hospital. The family cried hysterically when they learned that the victim had been recovered dead. The joint SAR team is currently searching for three other Spanish citizens: the coach of Valencia FC's women's team B, Fernando Martin, and his two children.
