How Is The Black Parade Still Relevant? ----------------------------------------------------- Follow @matesclubusa on IG ---------------------------------------------------- What is going on my mates! I hope you have all been very well. Today we are going to be talking about a band called My Chemical Romance and their album The Black Parade | For a while now I've wondered how the black parade is still relevant so I thought I'd make a vid showcasing my thoughts on this. Keep in mind, this video isn't meant to be perceived as fact, rather just my ideas and thoughts since there is no cut and dry answer. My Chemical Romance consisted of Gerard Way, Frank Iero, Mikey Way, Michael Pedicone, and Ray Toro. They have released great albums like Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge, I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, and Danger Days. Nothing comes quite as close as The Black Parade in terms of commercial success, overall appeal, and relevancy. Gerard Way is truly a visionary and it really shines through on this album and seems to be continuing into his later work aka TV shows. And of course Frank Iero is his own beast, I mean come on, you already know how talented and prolific Frank Iero is My Chemical Romance has been described as being alternative rock, emo rock, pop punk, and many other things. They're a hard group to assign genres to, but I've always just considered them a cool, weird, unique rock band sorta..? haha I don't even know, they're just great. The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance contains great tracks like: The End. , Dead! , This Is How I Disappear, The Sharpest Lives, Welcome To The Black Parade, I Don't Love You, House Of Wolves, Cancer, Mama, Sleep, Teenagers, Disenchanted, Famous Last Words, and of course the hidden track Blood The album was released October 23, 2006 and lives on strongly today in infamy Emo kids then listened to it and modern day emo kids still listen to it.
