Reinhard Bonnke (April 19, 1940 – December 7, 2019) was a German-born evangelist, author, and founder of Christ for All Nations (CfaN), famed for his colossal gospel crusades across Africa. For over 40 years, Bonnke poured out his life in Africa, conducting open-air rallies that drew hundreds of thousands, sometimes over a million people in a single meeting. His messages on salvation, divine healing, and the Holy Spirit’s power ignited countless transformations. He began his ministry in Lesotho in 1967 as a missionary, but soon felt a divine call to preach the Gospel to all of Africa. In 1974, he founded Christ for All Nations, which has since recorded over 79 million decisions for Christ. Bonnke authored several best-selling books, including Evangelism by Fire and Living a Life of Fire, passionately encouraging believers to win souls and embrace faith in God’s power. Though he passed away in December 2019, his legacy lives on through CfaN, now under the leadership of evangelist Daniel Kolenda.
