BashBug 71 in the NJ Pine Barrens
The Bash Bug gets it first profile in the Pines. Dan and I have been shooting some stuff for the 1971 Class Eleven Volks. In off-road racing, various vehicle classes exist, but Class 11 remains the most true to its original form. Class 11 features stock production Volkswagen sedans competing in the S.C.O.R.E International Series. Known as 1100 or Stock Bug in other series, we will refer to it as Class 11 in this article. Although termed stock bug, these vehicles are far from your Grandma’s old Bug; they are race cars. If you're looking to race on a budget and have fun, this is the series for you.
