In the interior of Maranhão, in 1922, the farm of the influential Brandão family was found completely abandoned by employees of a registry office in Caxias. Still-lit lamps, a table set for a dinner that was never served, suitcases started but not finished, and a still-functioning pocket watch indicated that the family's departure had been recent and abrupt. None of the members, between eight and twelve people, were found, and no official investigation reached a conclusion... This is a work of fiction in documentary format.
