Historical sewing and tailoring is different than modern one. Today manufacturers care for the price. Some time ago circumstances were different and they care more about the quality. Why historical clothing looks better than modern? And it's not about the outer general look, because this depends on the taste. It's about fitting and inside look. Those historical and vintage clothes look a lot better on human, because they are sewn properly. Modern clothing is sewn to look well on hangers instead on people. The reason is hidden deep inside profitability issues. I'll explain how.
