Klaipeda Castle Jazz Festival 2023 - Jive Aces

Linksmųjų muzikantų iš Jungtinės Karalystės šešetukas – dainininkas ir trimitininkas Ian Clarkson, saksofoną ir klarnetą pučiantis John Fordham, kontrabosininkas Ken Smith, pianino „akrobatas“ Vince Hurley, trombonininkas Alex Douglas ir būgnininkas Peter Howell, garsėjantys itin intensyviu koncertų grafiku, kuriame rezervuota būna net 300 dienų per metus, šį birželį atvyksta į Klaipėdą. „The Jive Aces“ išgarsėjo visame pasaulyje dėl savo energingai įspūdingų pasirodymų bei virusiniu tapusio vaizdo įrašo „Bring Me Sunshine“. Šis vaizdo klipas „Youtube“ platformoje peržiūrėtas daugiau nei 3,5 mln. kartų, yra pelnęs septynis kino festivalių apdovanojimus, o vienas JAV gydytojas net „išrašė“ šį klipą kaip vaistą nuo depresijos. Šiandien „The Jive Aces“ yra įsitvirtinusi pirmojoje „Jive & Swing“ muzikos kategorijos Jungtinėje Karalystėje vietoje. 2012 m. grupė koncertavo Jos Didenybei Karalienei Elžbietai II jos deimantinio jubiliejaus iškilmėse. 2013 m. grupė surengė 4 pasirodymus Bekingemo rūmuose karūnavimo festivalyje. „The Jive Aces“ dirbo su tokiais žymiais džiazo muzikos grandais kaip Van Morrisonu, Keely Smith, surengė šimtus pasirodymų festivaliuose visame pasaulyje. / A sextet of cheerful musicians from the United Kingdom - the singer and trumpeter Ian Clarkson, the saxophonist and clarinet player John Fordham, the bassist Ken Smith, the piano "acrobat" Vince Hurley, the trombonist Alex Douglas, and the drummer Peter Howell - known for their incredibly intense concert schedule, with up to 300 days booked per year, will arrive in Klaipėda this June. "The Jive Aces" gained worldwide fame for their energetically impressive performances and their viral video "Bring Me Sunshine." This video on the YouTube platform has been viewed more than 3.5 million times, winning seven film festival awards and even being prescribed by a US doctor as a remedy for depression. Today, "The Jive Aces" have firmly established themselves as the top band in the "Jive & Swing" music category in the United Kingdom. In 2012, the group performed for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations. In 2013, they had four shows at the Buckingham Palace coronation festival. "The Jive Aces" have collaborated with renowned jazz figures like Van Morrison and Keely Smith and have performed hundreds of shows at festivals all over the world.
