一、雅痞書店對四位音樂家的簡介： ＊林奕銘畢業於台北實踐大學音樂系。國防部示範樂隊退伍後獲獎學金至美國波士頓伯克利音樂學院進修，主修爵士樂演奏。2019年畢業於美國費城藝術大學碩士班爵士樂組。2021年畢業於美國紐澤西州立羅文大學碩士班，主修古典薩克斯風演奏。2022年出版個人第一份樂譜『三十六首爵士練習曲』。 2021年返台後與國內知名鋼琴演奏家許聰義組成『聰銘雙重奏』，致力於演出原創作品。2022、2023、 2024年在台北、台中爵士音樂節參與多個樂團演出。 曾多次與2019年金曲獎最佳男歌手Leo Wang合作，並參與大嘻哈時代2節目演出。目前任教於桃園文欣國小、台中清水高中音樂班、台中教育大學音樂系。 Iming Lin is a saxophonist and composer, from Taipei, Taiwan. He studied classical saxophone at Chinese Culture University and Shih Chien University. After completing military service in 2013, Lin received the scholarship to attend Berklee college of Music to pursue his jazz studies and graduated in 2017 with Diploma in Jazz Performance. At same year, Lin received the scholarship from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and graduated in 2019 with a Master of Music degree in Jazz Studies. He has released his debut album "The Road Ahead" in 2019 summer. In 2019 Fall, Lin has been selected as a finalist of PHL Jazz competition in Philadelphia, PA, USA. In 2021, Lin obtained a master's degree in classical saxophone performance from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ, USA. He is one of the very few amphibious saxophonists in Taiwan. He has performed in major jazz venues, festivals and actively promoted jazz music education. Lin is a former lecturer in the Jazz Improvisation Course of the MIT Saxophone Ensemble. In 2022, Lin published his very first music book "36 Jazz Etudes". ＊Damian A. Garcia is a professional musician from Austin, TX, currently living in Taipei, Taiwan. His interest in piano began at the age of five. He later attended the Stanford University Jazz Residency, the University of North Texas Jazz Workshop, the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, and was awarded the Piano Achievement Award by the Texas State University School of Music. Damian is a graduate of the world-renowned University of North Texas jazz studies program where he studied piano with Stefan Karlsson, Michael Palma, and Dan Hearle. Damian is an active performer, and is credited on dozens of studio recordings. He has also performed alongside many great musicians including Paquito d'Rivera, Claudio Roditi, Wayne Bergeron, Frank Wess, Butch Miles, Bob Mintzer, John Fedchock, Taylor Eigsti, Jamey Aebersold, Andre Hayward, Tom Brechtlein, and many others. Most recently, his music has taken him to Japan, having performed several times among some of the best musicians in Tokyo.
