She’s produced countless music programmes on many radio stations around the world. She kept her presence behind the scenes, but her knowledge of music and unique taste and personality were revealed through a cult daily morning show called Morning Mari on Gilles Peterson’s online radio platform Worldwide FM. She recently became a team member of Gondwana Records and keeps herself busy working with quality music and being a mom to her daughter Maika. "What you hear is all Japanese music from the 60s to the current day. My inspiration for the mix was ‘Déjà Vu’ by Cibo Matto who sing “Is this real or Is it a dream?” My focus was to create dreamy, psychedelic and sometimes even surrealistic vibes, so I jumped around different genres, from left-field pop, disco-funk, hip-hop, and alternative rock to synth music.
