It only requires cutting card stock and one round of stamping, making it a great confidence builder for beginner card makers. Card 2 is a fun fold card inspired by fellow Stampin Up demonstrator Terry Gaines, using Fresh Fig and Secret Sea card stock with a Fern Flora embossing folder detail and a mountain valley fold technique that creates a peek a boo effect when the card opens. Card 3 is another fun fold design using Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, and Peaceful Pine reinker with an aqua painter (water painter) to create a soft watercolor look on the Framed Violets flower stamp. We walk through exactly how much water and ink to use so your card stock does not pill or bleed, plus tips for getting a monochromatic watercolor effect. Card 4 features the Paradise Garden hybrid embossing folder paired with the Violet Dreams designer series paper and the coordinating framed dies. This one has gorgeous dimension thanks to the hybrid embossing technique and fussy cutting, and we share a little known tip about how the direction of striped designer series paper can change the feeling of your card.
