Today after work, we finally fulfilled our promise and went fishing with Roma. We chose the small Votka River near our house. Roma is learning how to assemble his tackle, bait his hook, and take his first steps in fishing. The bait today was ordinary bread, but the fish didn't appreciate our efforts. But we had a wonderful time outdoors, chatting about life and enjoying the quiet summer evening. The highlight was meeting a duck and her little ducklings, who unexpectedly swam right up to us, making the evening special.
