My mother is already 79 years old, we live together, and, frankly, living with two different generations under one roof is a challenge. Mom has her own opinion on everything, and she always does things her way! We're going through a really tough time right now: we're gathering documents for Mom to apply for benefits (pension no contributiva in Spain). We absolutely need a certificate from the Ukrainian pension fund for this. We made a power of attorney, but due to my fault, it got lost in another city... I mixed up the postal code, screwed everything up, and now we're on pins and needles. We're waiting, worrying about whether it will even arrive or if everything is lost. Family and bureaucratic matters are simply exhausting. But there's some good news—my mom is now "wheeled" and has her own car! Spanish state insurance only covers the most basic walkers (Andador) with two wheels, and walking on them is difficult. So I gave up and bought her extra wheels myself. You should know how much this little thing costs for the disabled! But the main thing is, Mom is happy and now she's cruising around the house.
