Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza - Concept Unification Premiere Footage

This video showcases the Concept Unification Premiere showtape being played across different Chuck E. Cheese’s Pizza restaurants in the early 1990s. To be exact, the locations presented here are: Dallas Montfort, Texas, Fayetteville, Arkansas, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Raleigh, North Carolina. The showtape debuted in June 1990 at the Dallas Montfort, Texas store, as it was the first store to receive the finalized version of Concept Unification. Every store that got CU between June to September 1990 (including Phoenix, Arizona) played this showtape continuously until the release of the September 1990 showtape. Afterwards, every store that got CU would play this showtape for the first one to two weeks after the process was done before switching to the current showtape that all stores would be playing. Because of how only a very few stores got to play this showtape for months on end, and how every other store that played it only had it on for about a week or two, finding footage of this showtape is especially rare. Notably, there is almost no home video footage of Segment 3 from this showtape besides a small bit of Simply Irresistible from Raleigh, NC. This means that not only do we not have footage for the rest of the song, but we also have no footage of Footloose from this showtape (aside from the footage that Corp recorded that shows up in the CU Premiere video feed for both songs). Everything shown in this video is all of the available home video footage of this showtape being played in stores as of December 2025. This video does not use any of the footage from either the CU Premiere showtape video feed or the footage of Segment 1 from the Dallas Montfort, TX store, as neither of these are home video footage and were recorded by Showbiz Pizza Time Inc.
