Neil Young, Down by the River. Live at the Roxy 9/20/23

Neil Young at the ROXY, where he played when Lou Adler and Elmer Valentine, with help from original partners, David Geffen, Elliot Roberts and Peter Asher, opened the club exactly 50 years before this show. Billy Talbot on bass, Ralph Molina on drums, Nils Lofgren on guitar and keys, joined by Micah Nelson (Willie's son) on guitar. Close to the 1973 lineup. Only Ben Keith is missing. They called themselves the Santa Monica Flyers in 1973. Dig the high heeled platform boot hanging down from the piano on the left! I got my ticket at 3 pm the day of the show. A pinch me production! I have no ownership interest in this video. I'm sharing because I was very fortunate to be there, and to be in a spot where I had a great view. The Roxy has a capacity of 500, and there are zillions of Neil Young fans out there. If you have a legal objection, please let me know, and I'll take it down. If you object because you don't like Neil Young, what is wrong with you??? 😹
