Long time no see! (About 3 months I think ?) I hope everyone is doing good! AAAAHHHHHH I’m finally starting to have a little bit of time to work on stuff beside my internship!! I spent the past 2 months working on long days there, switching from work, music, friends and sleep. Weeks are too short, days are too short and I wish I had more energy to hold that on a daily basis but it is getting better on that end and I can finally come home every evening and do music and other stuff (SUN IS FINALLY BACK AND DAYS ARE LONGER YEEEEY !). I still work on Boo:ooM on a daily basis (when I'm not dead from work). The project has been a back and forth between: I have time but lacking of ideas, I have ideas but lacking of time, Recently managed to work through it in a very decent way though ! Anyways ! Today's song is a song I discovered about 2 or 3 years ago. The song’s called “Anata ni deawa nakereba” (あなたに出会わなければ), which means, « If I hadn’t met you », originally sung by Aimer, from the album Sleepless Nights (2012). It is quite a sad song about still loving someone you cannot be with and actually missing that person and wishing you had not met that person, to avoid feeling bad (that’s some deep sh*t there…). It is a song I recorded in march 2017 (so about a year ago) after remaking the instrumental in -3 half-tones compared to the original. Aimer has a unique yet technical way of singing on this song, which gave me some hard time recording back then. For the visuals, I would like to thank both Arucelli for her suuuuuuper beautiful art (please Aru take my money) and for being such a good person to commission; and to thank Kusa that, offered me to work on it and, despite struggling with my feedbacks, managed to finish a 6 minutes video on a super aesthetic way while telling a story all along. Thank you both for that !! I hope everyone’s gonna have some chill time and enjoy this video !
