Two Hours at Cajon Pass – BNSF Main Line Action at Summit

BNSF main line train watching action on a cold, grey, and windy winter day at Cajon Pass, mostly filmed around Summit. 🚆 Stormy weather made for some great atmosphere as trains worked the grades through the pass. Car and truck traffic was heavy which required some back road exploration on Swarthout Canyon Road. Lots of big GE and EMD power, long intermodal and manifest trains, and steady action as friendly crews grind upgrade and roll downhill through the clouds and mist.
