Arguing for the motion are Simona Grano, TOY senior fellow at Asia Society Policy Institute’s Center for China Analysis; and Amanda Hsiao, senior analyst for China at International Crisis Group. Arguing against the motion are Yu-Hua Chen, assistant professor in the Global Studies Program at Akita International University; and James Lee, assistant research fellow at the Institute of European and American Studies at Academia Sinica.
