Located just north of Male and also a 40 minute public ferry ride from our previous island of Thulusdhoo is the picture perfect island of Dhiffushi! Immediately as we arrived we felt welcomed onto the island, everyone was so lovely and helpful. We stayed at the Ameera hotel and we would highly recommend to stay here if you go as the owner and staff were absolutely incredible and so caring. WE FED STING RAYS! How cool, we fed them just after the sun went down at the top of the island and the locals got everyone involved it was so special. We honestly had THE best time on the island and didn’t want it to end. We hoped you like the new video in the Maldives and apart from the public speedboat we really did, this island was super cheap so if you want to go to the Maldives on a budget then its easily achievable on this local island.
