Her lion, vast and unstoppable, becomes a living force of nature, scattering soldiers, breaking elephants, and unraveling entire formations with effortless strength. Arrows turn aside in the wind, chains entangle their wielders, and fear replaces fury in the hearts of the demons. The battlefield soon lies silent, covered in dust and ash. The goddess resumes her seat in calm repose, while her lion returns faithfully to her side. Survivors crawl back to Shumbha’s court, broken and terrified, reporting the fall of their mighty general. The demon kings, unwilling to accept defeat, vow to escalate the war, setting the stage for the arrival of Chanda and Munda. This chapter juxtaposes the stillness of divine truth against the fury of demonic pride, weaving imagery of sound, silence, and natural power into an unforgettable scene of cosmic balance and foreshadowing.
