Day 5 of my 10 week solo European roadtrip in my campervan 🚐 I've just started the romantic route in Germany 🇩🇪 (Romantische Straße) from Würzburg to Füssen is approximately 460 kilometers (about 286 miles). The route connects 29 towns and villages, spanning from the Main river to the Alps. Note that some sources or maps may show variations ranging from 350 km to 460 km, often due to route updates or detours. Würzburg is a city in Germany's Bavaria region. It's known for lavish baroque and rococo architecture. Home to numerous wine bars, cellars and wineries, Würzburg is the center of the Franconian wine country, 🥂 with its distinctive bocksbeutel (bottles with flattened round shapes).
