Blanch the peas in boiling water to which add ½ tsp salt and a pinch of sugar. Remove and refresh in cold water. Cut the paneer in 1/2” cubes and fry to a golden colour. Remove in a bowl of cold water. Heat ghee in a large pan. Add the whole spices and allow to splutter. Add the sliced oninos and saute till pink. Add the blanched peas and saute for 2-3 minutes. Add drained rice and saute for 3-4 minutes. Add hot water, slit green chilies, lemon juice, salt to taste and cook till the rice is 80% cooked. Add the fried paneer and finish cooking.
