Discovering Hidden Gems In A Frozen Winter Creek #rockhounding

I was finally able to sneak in a day of rockhounding in between snowstorms here in Montana! Chopper and I braved the cold and windy conditions all in the name of another Montana outdoors rockhounding adventure. We hiked through some deep snow to find a couple exposed gravel bars at one of my favorite creeks. I was definitely surprised by a few of my brightly colored rock finds! Come along and get a small fix of some rock hunting in the middle of winter! 00:00 Introduction 03:36 Strange Iron Concretion 04:09 Banded Montana Agate 08:29 Red Carnelian Agate 14:15 Colorful Petrified Wood 16:33 Green Jasper
