#14 Lima Class 47 Loco Upgrade: Installing Directional Lights (Part 2a)

This is the second video in a mini-series looking at upgrades to an old Lima ringfield/pancake motor-driven Class 47 locomotive, enabling it to be used on a DCC layout alongside more modern models. Due to the length of time that it takes to carry out all of the modifications, the lighting segment of the project has been split into two separate videos, Part 2a and Part 2b. In this part, we begin to look at installing directional lighting. The video covers the removal of the dummy forward lights, drilling holes for new rear lights, preparing new working headlights and headcode maps using miniature LEDs. NB.
