The XR18 / MR 18 X-Air consoles can be controlled by PC and Apple Mac computers using X-Air Edit software (available for free download on the Behringer site), or by iPad and Android tablets using Mixing Station or Behringer software. These consoles also provide a 16 mic preamp USB audio interface for use with DAW software or streaming software and platforms. Used by bands, soloists, duos, techs, recording engineers, and musicians of all ages. Mixing from stage, mixing from FOH, or used as an audio interface for a studio or home studio and DAW. The 16 channels of automix make it perfectly suited for conference mixing. Even with the failings of the built-in wifi and its inability to handle heavy cellular traffic, and only 2.4G single band, the XR18 makes up for it in other features, size and price.
