Mandola CGDA - Maple and Spruce sound sample
Here is the newest model of mandola I build. It features a balanced sound with powerful bass, nice mid range and clear higher notes. The great sustain and the shorter scale make a nice complement to its most popular siblings: the mandolin and the Irish Bouzouki, Tuned in CGDA, (C3, G3 , D4, A4) scale is 42cm - 16,5". Sycamore body, European spruce top, phosphor bronze strings. Built in September 2022. Alex Sariol is playing here a few notes for you all. I call this a mandola following the violin family classification, see video • Irish Bouzouki, mandola, octave mandolin? ... :) www.lacombeinstruments.com instagram: lacombe_instruments #mandola #mandole #irishmandola
