The aim is for users to learn how to set scales for presentation and printing themselves. Three types of scales relevant to printing a drawing are discussed: the model scale, which is implicit and depends on the units used when drawing; the plot scale, which must always be one to one and is defined in the page setup manager window; and the presentation scale, which is indicated in the properties of the presentation window. Using a practical example in the design program, the process of drawing a table and chair in meters is shown, and how this implies an implicit scale of the model from one to one thousand. It is explained that the presentation scale is the scale that can be adjusted to control the overall scale of the drawing. Finally, the video offers an exercise for users to practice what they have learned, adjusting the scale of a presentation to one twenty. The objective is to consolidate knowledge about the application of scales in the layout and presentation process in the design program.
