Quickest Way to Make Transparent MP Soap Base. No Cooking. With Recipe & English Instructions.

I have edited this description. I made a mistake before with the amount of lye and water It has been corrected now. This is a tutorial of making a clear transparent soap base (Melt and Pour) from scratch at home. The ingredients are very easy to find. And unlike commercial MP base, we don't use any synthetic surfactants. The oils create a soap that is safe and soft for the skin, lathers, beautifully, very clear, and does not sweat. If you cure the soap for at least 1 week, it will just become better, milder, and clearer. Furthermore, the method if making it is very simple and quick. No cooking. You can make this soap base in only 10 minutes max. Here are the ingredients (for a total oil weight of 150 gr): PART 1: base oils = Coconut oil: 100 gr Stearic Acid: 42 gr Castor oil: 8 gr PART 2: lye solution = Distilled water to dissolve the lye: 51 gr Lye (NaOH): 25.5 gr PART 3: solvents = Vegetable glycerin: 120 gr Ethanol food grade 96%: 128 gr Sugar solution or sorbitol 70%: 112 gr Note: to make sugar solution, just mix 2 parts of sugar with 1 part of distilled water. Warm and stir until all the sugar is dissolved. Do not boil it, or it will cause brownish tinting to your soap. When all sugar is dissolved, take some solution and weigh it according to the recipe.
