Soldier Field, the Rose Bowl, Allegiant Stadium, U.S. Bank Stadium, Olympic Stadium in Montreal, Empower Field at Mile High, Nissan Stadium, Paycor Stadium, M&T Bank Stadium, Camping World Stadium, and other major venues all missed out for different reasons. Some cities withdrew because of cost and legal concerns. Some stadiums had field-size problems, artificial turf issues, aging infrastructure, or uncertain renovation plans.
