Hey everyone tuned in to Competence Training! We made this video to show you the results of our CRF 230 two-stroke on a dynamometer. We're very happy with the result, as we obtained 27.8 hp on the best run (off-camera), which is already great for us, considering we're using an exhaust system with motocross characteristics, and disregarding the power gain we could have with an under-mount exhaust system, which would be useful for drag racing or velocross and would provide even more power. So, considering the possibilities, aiming for durability for a motocross race that lasts an average of 20 minutes, we have an engine with good power. Our horsepower is on par with the best national motorcycles competing in motocross championships, with the advantage of being lighter than the others, therefore giving us a power-to-weight ratio advantage. Now it's time to put it on the track and see what adjustments we need to make it truly competitive. We know that practice is practice and the game is the game!
