The Pony King- Be Prepared

The hardest song is done. When casting Scar, there’s only one character who planned a siege, murdered the reigning monarch, and usurped the throne. And that is King Sombra. Do you ever think about how dark the history of the crystal empire is? Ponies were tortured, enslaved, and brainwashed. Yeesh. For this I decided to include some of my personal head canons for Scar’s AKA Taka’s backstory - inspired by various fanfics. Poor Taka was neglected and emotionally abused by his father - who showed favoritism to Mufasa. Enraged, Taka lashes out at Mufasa, initiating a fight . Their father breaks it up but attacks Taka, giving him his signature scar. Broken and unwanted, Taka runs away where he meets Zira and they fall in love. When his father finds out however, he forbids Scar from seeing her. Later that night, Scar murders the Old King.
