And it took everything away from him, brutally, when he was fired by the new shareholders who bought it out. All Pierre manages to "get his teeth into" is a young Arab, unemployed to boot, who wants to launch an anti-carjacking system: his name is Farid, and he's no easy feat! But he pursues Pierre until he agrees to help him develop his invention. In reality, Pierre gave in out of pure selfishness: to reassure himself, because Farid managed to fool him by flattering him, because Pierre would do anything to avoid sitting around doing nothing.
