Systemic hypertension: Assessing blood pressure in cats - 21st May 2020
In this 35 minute webinar, Dr Sarah Caney explains how blood pressure can be measured in cats including some videos showing the technique. Interpretation of blood pressure readings is included with discussion on how to diagnose genuine hypertension versus situational (stress associated) hypertension. At next week’s session at 4pm on 28th May, Sarah will present a webinar "Treatment of hypertension" in which she will explain how vets treat and monitor patients with systemic hypertension. Sarah will also give some tips for administering tablet and liquid medications to cats.
