Present tense verbs in Italian: -IRE | Coffee Break Italian Podcast S2E05
In this lesson we continue to focus on conjugating present tense verbs in Italian, this time focusing on verbs which end in -IRE. This lesson also covers what Italian teacher Francesca calls the two “menus” of -IRE verbs. There are the regular -IRE verbs, and another group of verbs like the verb ‘capire’ which have some spelling changes in the middle of the verb. Coffee Break Italian Season 2 is aimed at learners who have already completed Season 1, or those returning to Italian after some time (A2 level). If you learned Italian at school but have been away from the language for years, then this course will be the perfect way to review what you once knew. It's all still there - just deeply buried! Joined by Italian teacher Mark, native speaker Francesca, and learner Isla, you’ll learn to talk about the present, the past and the future, master a range of grammar topics, and build your range of expression to cope with many different situations in Italian. If you'd like to get more out of your Coffee Break Italian experience, you can use the bonus materials which form the Coffee Break Italian Online Course.
