It feels like a dream. 【God-Tier Convenience Stores】 Grabbing my all-time favorite Sesame Oil Chicken Rice Ball for just $1.50 USD! Compared to sketchy gas stations in the US, Taiwan's 7-Elevens are basically 5-star cafeterias. 🍙 【Michelin-Starred Dinner & Massage】 Got a super relaxing Taiwanese massage, followed by a Michelin-starred Thai dinner! A table full of food cost us only $55 USD total?! (I swear this would have been at least $240 in Boston...) After a full day of eating, drinking, and relaxing, the total cost came out to be LESS than $100 USD! Honestly, coming back to Taiwan always makes me feel so "spoiled."
