Fabry Disease and the Heart with Dr. Dinesh Kalra
This presentation took place on Friday October 18, 2024 as part of the National Fabry Disease Foundation's 14th Annual Fabry Family Education Conference. Dinesh Kalra, MD is Chief of Cardiology at the University of Louisville (UofL) Medical Center in Louisville, KY, and is a Professor of Medicine and Radiology at the UofL School of Medicine. He also serves as Vice Chair for Quality in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Kalra is an international expert in infiltrative cardiomyopathies such as Fabry, amyloid, sarcoid, and multimodality cardiac imaging, as well as preventive cardiology and lipidology. His clinical and research interests are in cardiomyopathies, coronary plaque regression imaging by coronary CT, complex dyslipidemias, and pulmonary hypertension. He is board-certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, CT, CMR, Lipidology, and Nuclear Cardiology.
