Kishorn Expansion | Month 12 "Blast but Not Least"

Blast but Not Least – 12-Month Progress Update We've officially come full circle. Twelve months ago, we launched our first project update video, and while we've come full circle in time, the dry dock certainly doesn't look like a circle anymore. Over the last year, circa 1 million tonnes of rock have been blasted and moved. New land has emerged from the water, infrastructure has taken shape, and the footprint of the extended dry dock and reclaimed foreshore is now clearly visible. What started as a vision , drawings, plans and ambitions is rapidly becoming reality. As Phase 1A moves into its final stages, the project remains on track for completion in autumn 2026. Every blast, pour, lift and load over the past twelve months has contributed to bringing Kishorn Port's future into focus. Once complete, the expanded dry dock will accommodate vessels up to 260 metres long , floating assets up to 160 metres wide, and or manufacturing of concrete sub structures supported by enhanced laydown areas, licenced mooring facilities and operational space. These improvements will strengthen Kishorn's ability to support a wide range of sectors, including offshore energy, decommissioning, aquaculture and offshore wind sub structure manufacturing. Our 12-month progress video showcases just how far we've come in a year and highlights the momentum carrying the project towards its next major milestone and what’s next! Onwards and upwards!
