Czech M91/38 & Soviet M91/59 Mosins: Turning Rifles Into Carbines

Today we return to the Mosin-Nagant family by looking at two different conversion programs. The first was done in Czechoslovakia and took old M1891 infantry long rifles, cutting them down to M38 carbine length. These are known today by collectors as M91/38, and we have two examples to show you (including a French production Mosin). Next we have the M91/59, which was done in Soviet-Russia by cutting down M91/30 rifles into again something very similar to an M38 carbine. Interested in becoming a Patreon contributor?
