Tlingit Group Mt. Fairweather Dancers, Celebration 2018 | Sealaska Heritage
Watch as the Tlingit dance group Mt. Fairweather Dancers performs at Sealaska Heritage's event Celebration 2018. Celebration is a biennial festival of Tlingit, Haida, and Tsimshian cultures held in the Southeast Alaska community of Juneau. The four-day event includes dance performances and associated events such as a Native art market, lectures, a juried art show and competition, traditional food contests, and a parade through downtown Juneau. First held in 1982, Celebration has grown into one of the largest events in Alaska, drawing thousands of people. Everyone is welcome to this community event, held every even year in June.
