The Frenchman puts the notebook away, looks at the aircraft again, and utters a sentence that he will later quote from several sources: "I don't understand how you built this." The PZL.37 Łoś—a medium bomber from a country that no one in aviation circles took seriously. A country without a tradition of aviation industry, rebuilt after 123 years of partition between three empires. And yet—an aircraft faster than most of its contemporaries, including some fighters. A plane that German intelligence noted with a separate entry, circled in red. In this film, we tell the story of its creation, what it did in the real war, and why it was so disastrously short-lived.
