Semáforo com contatores e relés! LIDE e diagrama completo!
Learn how to build a complete traffic light system using contactors and timers. This lesson is part of the free online course on reading and interpreting electrical, industrial, single-line, and electronic diagrams and schematics. The behavior of a smart traffic light can be simulated by exchanging synchronized contacts (energizing and de-energizing contactors) that activate the lamps in their red, yellow (amber), and green colors. With some imagination, you can even adapt a pulse input connected to a sensor (radar) so that the yellow traffic light issues a ticket, just like the red one. It's also easy to add a pedestrian or pedestrian crossing button (pushbutton), audiovisual (audible for the blind or visually impaired), intermittent flashing yellow (nighttime traffic lights), railway lights, or even a green light to the setup. This will depend on the need and the level of practice you want to implement. This is like a textbook traffic light, but it's possible to teach electrical engineering and demonstrate how a traffic light works with a homemade toy made with Arduino. In the future, we'll also have videos on interpreting hydraulic diagrams and technical drawings. In operating systems, there's also the concept of a binary traffic light that controls the dependent execution of parts of a program. We'll cover this topic in the Arduino course. In the video, you can see phase 1 and phase 2 being used to power a set of normally closed and normally open relays, each set waiting for the other to trigger, opening or closing contacts, all based on a repeating initial condition. This is analogous to what occurs in Arduino systems using state machines. Also note the use of the seal contact and the separation of each branch of the circuit, which opens and closes depending on the instantaneous timing. -- Electrical Installations.
