Shoulder Pain With Reaching or Lifting? Exercises for Subacromial Pain and Bone Spurs

Free Rotator Cuff Rehab Program: https://membership.rehabscience.com/y... Book Link: https://amzn.to/3L6l3l8 Subacromial pain is frequently linked to the presence of a bone spur on imaging, and many people are told that the spur itself is the primary cause of their shoulder pain. As a result, surgical removal is often recommended. However, research and clinical experience consistently show that pain symptoms do not correlate well with the size or presence of a spur, and that many individuals improve without surgery. In this video, I explain the common pain patterns associated with subacromial pain, why bone spurs are often overemphasized, and how rehabilitation can be an effective first-line approach. I then walk you through a series of progressive rehabilitation exercises designed to improve rotator cuff and scapular muscle capacity, optimize shoulder motion, and reduce sensitivity of the subacromial tissues. These exercises are intended to help restore comfortable overhead and daily shoulder function while avoiding unnecessary fear around imaging findings.
