IDLE RELEARN PROCEDURE FOR HONDA CARS| KalikotTV by Mr Kalikot

Idle relearn procedure is a step by step process which is necessary to do when you clean or replace your throttle body or you perform an ECU reset procedure on your car's computer box., without doing this you might have encounter high rpm at low speed and erratic rpm as well when you shifted gears and use car accessories such us headlights, Aircon system etc. so it is best to conduct this procedure in instances that I have mentioned., Idle relearn procedure is easy to do, just follow this simple steps and your good to go, this optimized your rpm in a given speed and shift or using those accessories of your car., this procedure is applicable to Honda units, this is a feature of Honda cars that many enthusiasts doesn’t know about specially newbie., so I made this video as a reference as well to help others who needs to relearn there idle speeds., So just keep sharing and let others know about this procedure so that everyone will benefit and save money for not bringing there cars to high priced dealers… even them sometimes doesn’t know:) hehe…. Note: as you notice On the first part of the procedure which I have told to Kalikot michael which is in the video, that part is about resetting the ECU cause as you watch his testimony he already used the car after he replaced the throttle body, so basically the idle that has been relearned by the ECM which is not at nominal and normal idle is being stored in the ECU's memory, so that in order to reset everything to "zero" you'll have to perform that ECU reset procedure in order for the ECU to relearn the correct and nominal idle speed of the engine., holding the rpm at 2k is to relearn your idle speed when your cruisng at a speed of 100km/hr so that when your idle drops it doesnt fluctuate., its adaptable by the way as you drive your car., whats important here is the relearn process at cold start., cause this affects the engine idle or rpm when you shift gears and activate car accessories, such as headlights, AC and etc. Enjoy and Happy DIY….
