The school holidays have officially begun, so I took my daughter out for one of our favourite local breakfasts before running a few errands and preparing dinner at home. In this slow day vlog, we’re sharing kaya toast, soft-boiled eggs and what I think is the best mee rebus among Singapore’s local coffee chains. After a quick grocery run for an impromptu lunch with friends, a new air fryer arrives at our doorstep, giving me the perfect excuse to test it out with a whole roast chicken and one of the kids’ favourite sides — grilled pumpkin.
