Hebden Bridge MTB - Caught Me Out?

Can a below average rider handle Hebden Bridge MTB trails? I joined a group of experienced riders to find out how I’d cope with the rocks, slabs and technical sections. This was my first proper Hebden Bridge MTB ride on the Specialized Levo, taking on classic sections including Rock Garden, Stoodley, Kebab Street, Earnies and Gaddings. I was trying to keep up, learn from riders who know what they’re doing, and see whether I really am still a below average MTB rider. By the end, someone actually said I might not be below average anymore. There was also a crash along the way — thankfully everyone was fine — and it was a good reminder that Hebden Bridge can still catch people out, even on a dry sunny day.
