Karen Refuses To Pay Fines. Sues City Instead

After consulting with an architect and contractor, Linda Harlowe has decided to build a one bedroom cottage on her property behind her home. However, after spending over $80,000 and construction well under way, she was told to stop and fined several thousand dollars by the city. Now she has taken her case to Judge Porter, hoping he can waive the fines and allow her to continue building her cottage. But after reviewing all the evidence and hearing her testimony, it becomes clear to the court that the Plaintiff is averse to following city ordinances and obeying the law.
